What is my supplier energy account for?
When you switch to a new energy supplier, you will be given an online energy account where you can view or manage your bills, payments, and statements. Other fantastic features include detailed information on your energy supply and links to the support centre.
The energy account is designed to be useful and easy to use. If you have any questions about your energy account, it’s best to contact your supplier as they will have full visibility of your account.
What can Switchd members expect?
Essentially, you can expect the same as if you had signed up yourself. The account is created and managed by your supplier.
The only difference is that you will need to use your Switchd email address to login. If you forget it what your Switchd email address is, you can find this email on all our email correspondences and your your Switchd dashboard!
How do I login to my energy account?
When you switch over to a new supplier, they will send you an email to verify your account. This email will have an activation link and once you click on this link you will be asked to create a new password. After you have successfully and set up your account you will be able to log into it in the future normally by following these simple steps:
- Go to the supplier’s website – energysupplier.co.uk/login
- Use your Switchd email address as the login username
- Log in with the password you chose when setting up the account

Who has access to my energy supplier account?
Only the customer and supplier have access to your energy account. The supplier creates and manages your account and has the ability to update it, if needs be. This is due to strict Data Protection Act and to keep customers information and payments safe. If you need to discuss anything to do with your account, such as billing and payments speak with your supplier directly. You can live chat with them, give them or call or email through your Switchd dashboard.
