'I'm owed credit, will I get this back? Answer is yes!'

This is one of the questions we're asked regularly. And the answer is yes! 

As always, you will never pay for energy you haven't used.

Typically it takes 6 weeks for a final bill to be produced by your old supplier. So although it won't be immediately, you will be credited back once they have settled that bill.

If you're aware you're owed credit and it's been hanging for a while, you can always use your Contact Supplier function on your Switchd dashboard to ask your supplier directly. Just don't forget to select your old supplier rather than emailing your new supplier!
