What is my Switchd email address for?
This special email address is part of our automated email forwarding systems and we use it to register your property with your new energy supplier. Essentially, it allows us to work our magic and deliver our automated switching process!
Whenever a supplier sends an email to your Switchd email address, you will automatically receive a copy to your normal email address too.
There is no login or inbox for the Switchd email address.
What is my Switchd email address?
Most of the time, your email address will look like a combination of your name and postcode, and end in @getswitchd.com or @my.switchd.co.uk.
The quickest way to check is by going to your Switchd dashboard. Your email address will be displayed on the main page underneath the supplier login information.
What are the benefits of using Switchd email address?
Using the Switchd email address means our systems can automatically react to important things (such as informing you of switching problems), and it means we also have a copy of any email your supplier sends you, in case you want to talk about it with us.
Can I change the email address on the supplier's account?
We would kindly ask you not to. This special email address is an integral part of our service and will ensure a smooth switching journey.
Why am I not receiving emails from my energy supplier?
Sometimes the emails can take up to a few hours to be forwarded. It is also worth checking your Junk or Spam folder.
