If there’s a problem with your meter reading, our systems will alert you with a pop-up box. This is usually caused by one of the following:
- The meter reading is wrong, e.g. you’ve included numbers after the decimal place, or the readings are the wrong way round
- The usage on our systems might be too high or too low when compared with the new reading, which might throw make the system pause and ask for a check of the numbers (they may well be correct)
If you get this message and it’s not a mistake with the readings, it’s best to contact us, as we can usually fix this for you quickly.
Sometimes, a supplier will ask for photographs of your meter to make sure their records are correct. You can send these photos through your Switchd dashboard, by using the “Contact Supplier” pane.
