An objection is when your supplier won't let you leave. This means the switch won't go ahead until that objection has been resolved. Don't worry. We can still make the switch work if this is resolved soon.
The most common reason for a switch being objected to is debit balance outstanding on your account with your supplier. If you've used more energy than projected for any reason, you will find that your account might build up debit.
To find out whether you owe money to your supplier, your supplier will let you know, and it will also be accessible on the final bill you receive when trying to switch away from your supplier. Once this is paid, simply let us know and we can move forward with that switch for you.
If left for longer than 28 days, this switch may not go through. If you do miss that deal, there is nothing to worry about as we will simply start a new switch to the best deal once you let us know that you're good to go.
If the amount owed is not feasible, suppliers can be paid off over time and it's worth having a chat to them. see our other articles about building up debit and how you can manage, or even avoid this in the future!
